Myers Stadium on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin on Saturday, May 16, 2026 — winning gold for Houston Heights High School in one of the deepest, fastest 800m fields in the country.
The state title was a launch point. Two weeks later, Nicholas earned All-American honors at the inaugural Under Armour Track & Field Nationals — finishing 2nd in the boys 800m in a lifetime-best 1:48.54 to climb to No. 1 in the United States. He carries that form, plus a 4.7 GPA and an IB Programme transcript, into the Class of 2027 Division I recruiting class.

He won his Texas 6A state title at Mike A.
